CTE Mechatronics - Mike Kirschner
Do you like mechanics, robotics, or production equipment? Do you have a knack for creative problem solving? Mechatronics could be for you! As a mechatronics specialist you would be involved with both mechanical and engineering teams. There is a wide range of possibilities for students interested in Mechatronics. Students learn a wide range of skills from programming C++, Solid Modeling Software, and three dimensional models. Students learn skills through project based learning. We are also working on an Articulation agreement with LSSU in robotics.
CTE Educator's Academy - Mike DeYoung
Welcome to CTE Educator! The Educator Academy is a unique learning experience that combines high school classroom instruction with actual experience in many different classroom environments from Pre-K to high school classes. The experience is hands-on each day allowing students to work alongside their favorite teachers and teachers of the grade or area they wish to be an educator. We are working with LSSU and NMU to provide college credits that apply towards your education degree.
CTE Furniture and Cabinetry Manufacturing - Jason Perkins
Something from every room in the house - that's what we learn to build at the Rudyard CTE Cabinetry and Furniture Manufacturing shop. If you are interested in a career in carpentry, millworks, cabinet making, interior design or any other related occupation, CTE woodworking classes are for you. CNC carving, and part making are a vital part of the experience as well. Our tools and wood choices are second to none, and our lab is a vital part of the experience to train and prepare craftsmen and women for a 21st century career in a wide open career market. Our CTE instructors have over nearly 50 years experience in education as well as countless hours of woodworking experience to assist you in honing your skills as a woodworker.
